Bells Better Burgers
About This Spot
Pulling into the parking lot at Bells Better Burgers, you might first notice its unassuming, no-frills appearance—a reminder that some of the best local treasures don’t need flashy signs to stand out. The moment you step closer, though, a warm, familiar energy unfolds. This is a spot where the rhythm slows just enough to let you enjoy simple pleasures: the sizzle from the kitchen, the easy chatter, and the welcoming smiles that greet you at the window.
There’s a comforting, old-school charm to the atmosphere here. Instead of a dine-in hustle, Bells Better Burgers carries a classic car-hop vibe, inviting you to savor your meal at your own pace—whether that’s under the open sky or back on your couch. It’s the kind of place where the focus is all about fresh, made-to-order warmth served alongside genuine hospitality.
If burgers are your compass, this neighborhood staple offers a satisfying journey through familiar favorites with a Texas twist. The patties come generously stacked, whether smothered in crispy bacon or paired with a side of golden onion rings, each bite echoing with the care of a time-honored recipe. And if your craving veers toward a handful of something crispy and comforting, their chicken strips and fried pickles deliver with a satisfying snap and flavor that invites you back for more.
Drinks here complement the experience like an old friend—think classic sodas and sweet teas that feel like they’ve been enjoyed here for decades, perfect alongside a hearty burger or a basket of shrimp fresh from the fryer. It’s a place where kids’ meals and daily specials create an easy rhythm for families and locals seeking familiarity without fuss.
Behind the scenes, the team works with a quiet pride that resonates in every order. Friendly voices and genuine smiles create more than just meals—they craft moments of connection, a reminder of the local roots and stories baked into every bite. Bells Better Burgers may not shout its charm from the rooftops, but those who find it come away with something lasting: the simple satisfaction of good food, good people, and the comfort of a place that feels like home.

I visited for the first time in loved it! I got the bacon cheeseburger which was fantastic! Since I had never been, I tried the fries which were delicious and the onion rings and the onion rings were good but they definitely needed some sort of seasoning / salt. The ladies that work there were very friendly. They have a huge menu and I can't wait to go back and try more of their goodies!

Quick service, fresh food, great price. Extended: You pull up, and it is underwhelming. As soon as you park, you’re greeted by Letycia, with a warm smile and southern accent. She was gracious enough to walk me through the menu, and I ended up going for taco Tuesday one dollar tacos. Tacos came out fresh and they were way above expectation. I also ordered the apple pie à la mode, simple but good. If ever in the area, you must try! I’ll be back for a hamburgers next!

Good service & cooked to order! We ordered shrimp & catfish & it was EXCELLENT! They have reasonable prices & it's worth the wait. Don't pass it up just because it's a whole in the wall, because you'll be missing out! Keep up the great work!

Texas native that grew up eating here since the late 90’s. I moved to another state a few years back so I was pleasantly surprised that after 10 years away not only was the place still open but the food is still just as how I remember it from back in the day. Cooked with love and and always beyond expectations! Best burger joint in The DFW!

Car hop vibes. Not an eat in spot. My boyfriend decided to get double meat burgers. They were huge. If they added a little salt and pepper or seasoning, their burgers would be even better.
